From San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
By public transit
Take a BART train ($5.15) from the airport to the Powell Street station. Walk 2 blocks north on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell Street, then turn right on Mason Street. The hostel is on the righthand side.By shuttle
Airport shuttles will deliver you to the hostel's front door, though late-night hours may be limited. Look for a shuttle stop outside the baggage claim.Lorrie's Airport Service offers a discounted rate of $13 per person for shuttle service between the airport and the hostel.

Private taxis are readily available at the airport; a ride to the hostel will set you back about $45.
From Oakland International Airport (OAK)
Take an AirBART shuttle bus ($3, exact change) from the airport to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. Take a BART train ($3.35) to the Powell Street station. Walk 2 blocks north on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell Street, then turn right on Mason Street. The hostel is on the righthand side.
From Amtrak train stations
From the Oakland or Emeryville Amtrak stations, take an Amtrak shuttle bus to the Ferry Building (at Market Street and the Embarcadero).
By public transit
Take a MUNI metro train ($1.50, exact change) from the Embarcadero station (near the Ferry Building) to the Powell Street station. Walk 2 blocks north on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell Street, then turn right on Mason Street. The hostel is on the righthand side.By taxi

Take MUNI bus #38 ($1.50, exact change) to Geary and Powell streets. Walk 1 block west on Geary, and turn left on Mason Street. The hostel is on the lefthand side.

Private taxis are usually available around the Transbay/Greyhound terminal; a ride to the hostel costs about $8-10.
By car
From Van Ness Avenue, drive east on Post Street. Turn right on Mason Street. The hostel is two blocks down, on the left side of the street. There is an unloading zone in front of the hostel entrance; when you arrive, the hostel staff can direct you to nearby long-term parking.
